We actively seek patients' views on the services we provide verbally, via our suggestion box, surveys and complaints.
We would strongly encourage our patients to attend regularly in order to achieve or maintain good oral health. We will undertake an Oral Health Assessment during your first appointment in order to ascertain and agree your treatment needs.
Missing appointments wastes time and resources which are needed for other patients. Our practice policy is that if, on more than one occasion, patients cancel with less than 48 hours' notice or do not attend an appointment, then we will no longer be able to offer you NHS treatment. We will of course take any special circumstances into account. We may still be able to offer private dental care, but will require a non-refundable deposit.
Patients who are violent or abusive to practice staff, to other patients or anyone else on the practice premises will be refused treatment and reported to the appropriate authorities.
Further information regarding primary dental services in the area can be obtained from AneurinBevan Health Board, Llanarth House, Unit 1, Newbridge Gateway, Bridge St, Newbridge, NP11 5GH; tel 01495 241200; email [email protected]

Our normal procedure is to ask for payment at each visit, as treatment is carried out. If you do not have to pay for NHS treatment, then please bring proof of your exemption with you.
Although we are unable to arrange home visits, please be aware that wheelchair access can be arranged on request, to the downstairs surgery and waiting room.
Whenever possible, please contact us about dental emergencies during normal surgery hours. If you think you need to be seen the same day, please get in touch as early in the day as possible, ideally before 10:00 am.
